FUNCTIONS AND ROLES OF UNIT

Training unit is committed in meeting the needs of university human resource development: Business Planning Competency Board Training Panel with Professional Development (CPD) UPSI.
Continuous Professional Development (SysCPD) is a long life learning process to develop and increase individual competency including development activities, knowledge, skills and attitudes. 

  • Application to Attend Training/Course by BSM 
  • Application to Attend Courses by Overseas Agencies 
  • Application for CPD points by organizer/ Responsibility Centres 
  • Managing Joint Training Industry Training Committee of Public Higher Education (JALUMA)
  • Managing short-term training in and outside the organization in accordance with the level of competency based training calendar
  • The conduct of an orientation program for new staff report
  • Managing Program Transformasi Minda and courses for all personnel groups
  • Managing UPSI Bitara course for all staff of the University
  • Managing records and training reports to comply with Quality Procedures MSISO 9000
  • Managing student practicum placement / industrial training at the appropriate CoR
  • Certification Managing Teaching and Learning Higher Education
  • Managing administrative staff of the Training Unit in accordance with a list of tasks
  • Manage the implementation of other tasks as directed from time to time
